Accounts & subscriptions
Solutions for registration, subscription imports, configuration updates, and device changes.
What do I need to register for JWVPN?
No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Choose a unique password that you do not reuse on other websites, and keep your username safe. After registration, open the user dashboard to choose a plan, then download the client and subscription details for your platform.
How do I import a subscription link into a client?
Sign in to the user dashboard and open the client download area. Get the client for your current operating system, then copy the subscription information shown in the dashboard. In the client, find the option to import a subscription or add a configuration, paste the information, and run an update. Once the server list appears, choose a server and start the connection. Do not share your subscription information with anyone else.
What should I do if a subscription link update fails?
First, confirm that your current plan is still active and check that no spaces were added before or after the copied text. Disconnect any existing connection, copy the subscription information again from the user dashboard, and update it in the client. If it still fails, delete the invalid local configuration and import it again. When submitting a support ticket, include your platform, the message shown by the client, and the step where the problem occurred.
Do I need to buy another plan when I change devices?
No separate purchase is needed when you change devices. JWVPN supports unlimited devices, so the same account and active subscription can be used on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux. On the new device, download the client from the user dashboard and import the subscription again. Remove the local configuration from devices you no longer use.
Connections & issues
Identify problems through the local network, system permissions, proxy mode, and client configuration.
The client says it is connected, but websites will not open. What should I do?
Disconnect first and confirm that your local network can open websites normally, then reconnect to the current server. If nothing changes, switch to another server in the same region and check whether the client’s system proxy or virtual network permission is enabled. You can also quit and reopen the client, update the subscription, and test separately in a browser and other apps.
Why won’t a particular app use the proxy?
This is usually related to the client’s proxy mode, per-app rules, or the app’s network implementation. First switch the client to a mode that covers traffic from all apps and test again. If access works, check whether an existing rule has set that app to direct connection. A disabled system permission can also prevent an individual app from using the connection, so check the network permission again and restart the app.
How should I troubleshoot frequent disconnections?
First, check whether disconnections occur only on one local network. If changing networks fixes the issue, review the original network’s sleep behavior, network switching, and proxy restrictions. If disconnections occur on different networks, update the subscription and switch servers. On mobile devices, allow the client to maintain its network connection in the background so power-saving features do not stop it too early.
What should I do if the connect button does nothing?
Confirm that the client has imported the subscription successfully and that the server list contains available options. Select a server before starting the connection, and watch for a system request for network permission. If permission was previously denied, open system settings and allow it again. If the button still does nothing, quit and reopen the client, then import the subscription again.
Speed & servers
Choose a server based on your local network, target region, and actual task.
How should I handle slowdowns during peak evening hours?
Peak-hour slowdowns are not necessarily caused by the device; international links and local network congestion can both affect performance. Pause bandwidth-heavy downloads and sync tasks, then switch to another server in the same region. If the target service does not require a specific region, try a nearby region as well. After each switch, reopen the target page or app so it does not continue reusing the old connection.
How do I choose the right server for my current task?
For office work and browsing, start with a nearby server that offers a stable connection. For content with regional requirements, choose the corresponding country or region. JWVPN covers 100+ countries / 160+ servers. When several servers are available in the same region, test them on your current network instead of staying on one server permanently.
The server connects, but video still buffers. What should I do?
Reduce parallel downloads and cloud-sync traffic on your local network, then disconnect and reconnect to the server. Confirm that the video service’s required region matches the selected server, and clear old network sessions retained by the target app. You can also fully quit and reopen the app. If buffering occurs only on the current server, test another server in the same region.
Why are connection speeds different across devices?
Device performance, wireless network quality, system network permissions, background tasks, and the client’s proxy mode can all affect results. For a fair comparison, connect the devices to the same local network, use the same server, and pause downloads and sync tasks. If the difference remains significant, update the client configuration for the relevant platform and check whether power-saving or data limits are enabled.
Billing & refunds
Review monthly subscriptions, traffic packages, payment methods, and the refund request process.
What monthly subscription tiers are available?
Monthly plans include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB. Data resets monthly on the activation date. Review your actual usage for everyday work, video, and downloads before choosing a tier. If you upgrade partway through a billing period, the price difference is prorated across the remaining days.
Does the data in a traffic package reset every month?
No. Traffic packages remain available until used and never expire. Options include ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. Unlike monthly subscriptions, which reset on each monthly activation date, these packages suit users with irregular usage who prefer to consume data as needed.
Which payment methods are supported?
Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT are currently supported. After choosing a plan in the user dashboard, the checkout page will show the available methods. Before paying, double-check the plan’s data allowance and billing type. After payment, return to the dashboard to check the order and subscription status. If the page has not updated yet, do not submit the same order again.
How do I request a refund?
JWVPN offers a 7-day no-questions-asked refund. To apply, sign in to the user dashboard and submit a ticket describing the relevant order and refund request. Keep the order details shown on the page for verification. The refund policy page governs the full eligibility and handling process; you may stop using the relevant subscription before submitting the request.
