ACCOUNT
Set up your account and open the user panel
Start by opening the JWVPN account setup page. No email address is required; just choose a username and password. You will use the username to sign in to the user panel later. Store the password separately and never reuse it on other websites. Check your entries before submitting to avoid login issues caused by extra spaces or differences in capitalization.
After creation, the page will open the user panel or ask you to sign in again. You will know the login succeeded when the page shows links for the account overview, plans, client downloads, and subscriptions. The account is ready to use, but without an active plan the client cannot retrieve usable routes, so choose a plan next.
If refreshing the browser returns you to the login screen, use the username and password you just set. After repeated failed attempts, do not keep guessing; check your keyboard layout, capitalization, and browser autofill entries first. More complete login troubleshooting is available in the Help Center; this page focuses only on the main first-time setup path.
PLAN
Choose a plan and place your order
Once you reach the Plans section of the user panel, consider how you will use the service. Monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB; data resets monthly on the activation date. For short research sessions, email, and light browsing, start with a smaller tier. Video, file syncing, or long-term use across multiple devices consumes more data, so choose based on your actual needs.
If you prefer data that does not reset monthly, consider the pay-as-you-go packages, which remain valid until used and never expire: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. Monthly subscriptions and data packages are billed differently, so check the plan name, total data, and reset terms before choosing. When upgrading a monthly subscription, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Compare not only the data amounts shown on the page, but also the time left on your current subscription.
After confirming your plan, open the order page, check the plan name and amount, then pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT. Return to the user panel after payment, wait for the order status to update, and confirm that an active subscription appears in the account overview. All plans support unlimited devices and include a 7-day no-questions-asked refund; see the Refund Policy for the applicable terms.
SUBSCRIPTION
In the user panel, get your subscription
After your plan becomes active, open the account overview in the user panel. You will see the current subscription status, data details, and client configuration options. Find the “Copy subscription” button or an equivalent option and click it to copy the link to your clipboard. The subscription link lets the client retrieve the route list and future updates. It is different from a public webpage address, so store it only on your own devices and in a password manager.
This guide uses the clearly invalid example below only to show the link format. Do not paste it into a client or modify your own address based on it. Always copy the actual configuration from the user panel after signing in:
https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN
After copying, do not share the full content in chat logs, public documents, or screenshots. Open the device you want to use and go directly to the subscription import page in its client. If the copy button does nothing, allow the browser to access the clipboard or use the manual copy option provided by the panel. If no subscription appears in the panel, check the order status and plan validity first; do not assemble the link yourself.
IMPORT
Complete the client import for your platform
JWVPN supports Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux. This section covers the standard first-import path and does not provide static installer links. Get the client for your operating system from the Client Downloads section of the user panel, then use the subscription you copied earlier to configure it. After installation, do not connect immediately; first confirm that the subscription updated successfully and that a route list appears.
Windows
In the user panel, select Windows, get the JWVPN client, and complete the installation using the system prompts. Open the client, go to subscription or configuration management, choose an option such as “Import from URL,” paste the subscription copied from the panel, and select Add or Update. After a successful import, the main interface should show routes organized by region rather than a single raw link.
On first launch, the system may ask you to allow the client to establish a network connection. Confirm that the program came from the user panel, then grant the required permissions when prompted. Return to the route list, check the subscription update time, and continue to route selection.
macOS
Choose the macOS client from the user panel, install it, and open the app. macOS may ask you to approve a network extension or VPN configuration; this is a normal step required to establish a system network connection. Follow the prompts in System Settings to allow the configuration, then return to the client’s subscription manager.
Paste the link into the Add Subscription field, save it, and run an update manually. A regional route list confirms that the import is complete. If the subscription is present but the list is empty, check that the plan is active, delete the empty configuration, and copy the link again from the user panel. Do not continue using an old link from your browser history.
Android
Sign in to the user panel on your Android device, open Client Downloads, and select Android. After installing the relevant client, open subscription management or configuration and import the link from your clipboard. Give the subscription an easy-to-recognize name, such as JWVPN, so you can find it quickly when updating routes later.
After importing, tap Update and wait for the route list to finish loading. The first time a connection is established, Android will show a VPN connection permission dialog. Confirm it so the client can manage network traffic on the device. Granting permission does not mean you are connected yet; return to the main screen, choose a route, and turn the connection on.
iOS
Check the iOS section of the user panel for the currently available client options and install a client compatible with subscriptions as directed. In the client, find Add Subscription, Remote Configuration, or Import from URL, then paste and save the link copied from the panel. Some clients update automatically after saving; if no routes appear, tap Update manually.
The first time you connect, iOS will ask to allow a VPN configuration to be added. After confirming in the system dialog, return to the client and check that the route list is complete. A correctly imported subscription should show multiple regions and let you sync route changes later with the Update button.
CONNECT
Choose a route and connect
After the subscription updates, choose a route based on the service you want to use and your current location. For services in Asia, start by testing nearby regions such as Tokyo, Hong Kong, or Singapore; for content in other regions, choose the corresponding route. JWVPN offers coverage in 100+ countries with 160+ routes. You do not need to test every route at the start—use one that is geographically close and suited to your task to establish the basic connection.
After selecting a route, return to the client’s main screen and turn on the connection. The client typically shows Connecting followed by Connected, and the system status bar may display a VPN indicator. Do not switch routes repeatedly right away; wait for the current connection to finish, then open a regular webpage to confirm access. If it loads normally, continue with the next verification step.
If the client remains stuck on Connecting, stop the current attempt, update the subscription once, and choose another route in the same region. If it still fails, check that the device time is correct, that the underlying network can open ordinary websites, and that the system has granted network configuration permission. For subscription update failures, frequent disconnects, or connection issues in a specific app, go to Troubleshooting and follow the symptom-based steps.
VERIFY
Verify whether the connection is working
Once the client shows Connected, confirm that the configuration works through actual access results. First open a regular webpage that normally works to make sure basic connectivity is intact. Then open the international website, work service, AI tool, or streaming page you need. The setup is working as expected when the target service loads normally and the apparent access region changes after switching routes.
Change only one variable at a time during verification. If a website will not open, do not replace the client, subscription, and multiple system settings all at once. Keep the current client, update the subscription, and switch to another route in the same region first. If regular webpages work but one app still fails, the cause may be the app cache, account region, or per-app rules; it does not necessarily mean the entire connection is invalid. The Help Center covers common symptoms and relevant next steps—continue with Connection and Troubleshooting Issues.
Once access is confirmed, note the current route name and repeat the “get client—import subscription—update routes—connect” process on other devices. Devices are unlimited, but each device should obtain its configuration from your own user panel, and subscription details should be stored securely. When the route list changes, update the subscription in the client first; there is no need to create another account or place another order.
